These terms cover website use and general dealings with us. Installation/use of the proprietary software is covered by the Software Licence. Purchases are also subject to the written quotation/order terms presented before payment and the Trial & Refund Policy. No wording here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Product information and downloads
Illustrations and sample figures on this site are demonstrations, not actual customer records, testimonials or promises of a particular business result. Features depend on the version installed, permissions and licence issued.
The download section identifies the published version. Installer filenames/display branding may say “Vishesh Jewellers”; KaratDesk is the product name. A website change does not update an already-installed application or mean an unreleased feature is included.
Download from the official release links, read compatibility/release notes and verify checksums where provided. Current installers are unsigned and may trigger publisher warnings. Keep antivirus protection enabled. Do not bypass security protections merely to install the app.
3. Quotes, paid licences and payments
The website currently offers trial downloads, not an integrated payment checkout. Contact Tech Aditya for a paid quotation. Before paying, obtain written confirmation of the price, applicable taxes, licence duration, store/device or invoice allowances, included support and any separate service charges. Do not assume unlimited use, a lifetime licence, automatic renewals or future upgrades unless expressly stated.
Use only payment details confirmed through the official support email. We do not need your banking password, OTP, full card credentials or recovery passphrase. Refund requests follow the published policy, without limiting other remedies available under applicable law.
4. Lawful use and ownership
Do not attack or disrupt the website, impersonate another person, distribute malicious files, misuse support channels or infringe others’ rights. You must be authorised to act for a business when placing an order on its behalf.
The proprietary website content and product branding belong to Tech Aditya or their respective rights holders. Customer store names, logos and business records remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party and open-source materials retain their own licences and notices.
5. Business, backup and tax responsibilities
KaratDesk assists with operational records; it is not tax, legal, investment or accounting advice. Verify invoice details, GST treatment, rates, reports and statutory compliance with qualified advisers as appropriate. Cash flow is not profit, and market benchmarks are not guaranteed selling or buying prices.
Protect your devices and user accounts, control staff permissions, keep current portable backups off the original device and test recovery. Keep recovery passphrases separately. We cannot promise recovery where all usable backups, keys or passphrases are unavailable. These responsibilities do not excuse defects or other obligations that law places on Tech Aditya.
6. Availability, support and external services
We use reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information and assist with reported issues, but do not promise uninterrupted website access, a particular repair deadline or compatibility with every device. Any separately agreed support commitment will be described in writing. Core desktop operations are local; downloading files, contacting support and optional market-rate features require appropriate connectivity.
External hosting, download and rate providers have their own services and terms. Report broken links or suspected security issues to our official email. Please do not send secrets or exploit a suspected issue against other users.
7. Liability and mandatory protections
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept responsibility for indirect or consequential losses arising from misuse, unsupported modifications or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This is not a blanket exclusion of responsibility for our own defects or breaches.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Any limitation is subject to those protections. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
8. Complaints, governing law and updates
Email 6677aditya@gmail.com with your purchase reference and a clear description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and address them within one month, or any shorter period required by applicable law. You retain the right to approach a competent authority or forum.
Indian law applies, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you. Courts and forums with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes; this does not force consumers to waive a legally available forum.
We may update these website terms prospectively. Material changes to an existing paid order require any notice or agreement required by law. Updated website wording does not retroactively remove promised refunds or paid entitlements.
